Federal Return submitted using Turbotax keeps being rejected by the IRS
For the second year 2020 and now 2021 my Federal Return is rejected by the IRS saying the AGI submitted does not match the IRS records.
But checking the 2020 return (when submitting 2021 return) and downloading the return's transcripts from the IRS website (to verify what the IRS has in their records) I see the is no error in the AGI submitted. Last year when submitting the 2020 return I ended up mailing the return (AGI from 2019 didn't match IRS records).
I have a joint return with my wife and during the process of identification TurboTax asks for mine and then my wife AGI and the field is already populated with the AGI from the previous year for both of us. Should I calculate my AGI (my W2s minus what?) and my wife's AGI (her W2 minus ??) .. personally I don't think so but I don't understand why my return is rejected.
Note that I have downloaded all possible transcripts and I do not own any money all all numbers in the transcripts match the numbers in the forms from those years when I used TurboTax.
