While we may not have an immediate answer/solution to the issue you are confronting, review your Form 1040 and the Schedules and see what the entries reflect on your actual tax return. If the numbers look correct, then you do not need to focus as much on the summary screen for now at least. Here are the steps to review your Form 1040 and Schedules 1, 2, and 3, if applicable.
- Sign back into your account
- select any of the categories, such as Income & Expenses or Deductions & Credits,
- from the left margin, select Tax Tools,
- then select Tools,
- at the pop-up window, select View Tax Summary,
- in the left margin, select Preview my 1040,
- review your Form 1040
- select Back, left margin, to return back where you left off.
