Are you reporting interest on a 1099-INT that is tax exempt in your state? If so, in TurboTax Online Premier version, follow these steps:
- Go to Federal / Wages & Income / Your income / Investments and Savings / Interest on 1099-INT.
- Click Start / Revisit to the right.
- Edit the 1099-INT.
- At the screen Let's get the info from your 1099-INT, click Continue.
- At the screen Do any of these uncommon situations apply? click My state.....
- At the drop box, select the appropriate state.
