I am preparing IRS Returns for my partner and for myself.
Going through the Smart Check for my partner has highlighted an error: Schedule 8812 : Advance Payments received must be entered.
I have no idea what this means. I looked up "Advance Payment" in the Search, did not get any guidance.
What do I need to do?
