education qualified expenses being reduced by $10000 for credit not taken thereby causing 529 dist taxable

I think Turbo tax has aproblem. it keeps reducing my qualified education expense by $10000 for the education credit that i cant take thereby causing me to include part of my 529 distribution to be taxable, which should not be the case
