The option to indicate that the cost basis is incorrect still exists.
In the Premiere Desktop/CD version you have to
- Continue past the entry area
- Any of these less common items > Done
- Was this a sale of employee stock > No > Continue
- Select any less common adjustments to apply
- The third check box is The cost basis on my statement is incorrect
In the Online version
- It is on the input screen just below
- Box 1e - Cost or other basis
- The cost basis is incorrect or missing on my 1099‑B
