It should not be necessary for customers who also used TT the prior year to have to manually recalculate their AMT from the prior year, especially if it was already done with the TT software the previous year. When I downloaded "Forms to review or keep for your records" the prior year, Form 6251 should have been included. As it turns out, if the user wanted to save Form 6251 the prior year, they would have had to manually navigate to it, and save it individually - but how would they even have known that they should need to do this, and that TT would ask the user for it the following year? In my case, TT created a 2020 Form 6251, and it was available for download at that time - but TT failed to include it in the collections of PDF downloads they offer.
