I have got the same message past 2 years and end up having to mail the state and pay for Auditdefense separately.
This is the message "We are sorry, we are having trouble authorizing your credit card. Please verify your billing address, card number and CVV and try again."
It has been frustrating to say the least after talking to support.
I will switch next year for sure
