DIV-1099 Question
I have a money market fund through Vanguard. I did not receive a 1099-DIV form for 2021 as the total ordinary dividend accumulated was only 0.58. I was advised by Vanguard that I still needed to report it on my taxes, so I went under my tax information (under Vanguard) for that account, and it showed 0.58 in dividends and 0.58 total distributions. I know that I enter the amount under 1a under ordinary dividends, but I just want to make sure that I also don't enter the same amount under 1b qualified dividends and/or 2a capital gains distribution.
Any help to clarify this would be appreciated. Thank you
