You are not required to Efile an Amended return. You can print and mail your amended return and attach Form 7203.
Amended returns are processed separately and can take 12-16 weeks at least to process, and don't 'catch up' to your original return and correct it.
You could try opening Form 7203 in FORMS mode, and linking it to the appropriate K-1, as some users have suggested. Is there data entered on your Form 7203? Other users suggested Efiling Federal first, then State.
