We need to inform our friends and family know of this issue regarding Turbotax and E*Trade, the more people aware of the problem we have a better chance Turbotax and E*Trade would put more resource to solve the issue, either that our they would not making that kind of profit again next year. I did a research on TaxAct and they have an option for you to download the 1099 csv from E*Trade then upload to your tax form, just incase something like this hapens, that is not an option at TurboTax.
