Another method you could try is to go back to the page where you answer the question concerning the 1095-A to change your answer. To get to that screen:
- Go to the Federal section
- Search the term "1095-A" and click on "Jump to"
- On the screen that says "Before we ask about your Form 1095-A, we need to ask about some other information" answer the question and click Continue.
- On the next screen "Did you receive Form 1095-A for your health insurance plan?" Answer "no" if you do not have a 1095-A. This should remove any reference to the 1095-A in your return and click Continue.
- After you complete this section, then you can go ahead and re-e-file your return.
