@JohnDoe18 This was my experience as well. There was no FEMA number for COVID-19 and the IRS instructions explicitly say to leave it blank. If you are getting this prompt, the software thinks you’re filing for a disaster other than, or in addition to, coronavirus. Also the amount on your 2020 8915-E should be the 1/3 amount to be taxed in 2021 & 2022. Don’t divide this number by 3 again.
