To enter your business insurance on your Schedule C, please follow the instructions below:
- Open your return.
- Search Schedule C with the magnifying glass tool.
- Select the Jump to link at the top of the search results.
- Click Review next to your self-employment business.
- Click Add Expenses for this work on the page Here's your XXX info
- Scroll down to Less Common Expenses.
- Scroll until you see Business Insurance.
- Click Add. Click Continue.
- Click Start next to Business Insurance.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
