Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Hi - I was hopeful that the approach used by campsteraz would work for me but it did not.

When I delete an existing property - and went back in and immediately attempt to add depreciation - I still get the same error "You've done a great job starting you taxes early but the IRS is still working on finishing up the depreciation and amortization area (Form 4562).   And I'm guessing that my historical amortization would also be lost.

So, yesterday I opened up a new incident and while sharing my error, Intuit did not have any options for fixing it and also suggested I file a request for a late return.    Well I'm not going to file late, but I will continue to escalate and perhaps even post more information so others don't invest in this software if it is not fixed by the end of next week.

That said, I've never had problems with the software, and expected NOT to have problems this year, but apparently the quality of the product has diminished.

Asking others, has anyone found a software package that can take the turbotax info from a prior year so that I can just move to a different tax software solution?  That may be one option, else I will have to ask for a refund and go to the nearest tax accountant to complete my taxes on time as it doesn't seem that Intuit has put much effort into resolving this issue.
