I am facing the problem that 4.b is exactly the amount of 4.a which is the backdoor conversion amount. In my case 4.b should be 0 since I convert to this 6000 to Roth IRA immediately after I contributed it to the traditional IRA. There is no income between these two steps. Please help. Thanks!
