Last year I went through a Lemon Law Lawsuit with my vehicle. Due to having negative equity in the vehicle, it would've cost me 3k to have the company buy it back. I was offered $12,500 to keep my vehicle. I am now trying to file my taxes, but they put the $12,500 under lawyers fees on the 1099. The software therefore populates a schedule A for a business because it thinks I'm a lawyer. I spent a few hours last week trying to find a work around, to no avail! Looking for any help I can get!
