So I need help. When I filed in 2020 we had a 1099R it had all the info including the amount withdrawn and the federal tax withheld. When iam reporting the 2nd year, TT has me paying federal by alot but I didnt have to pay the first year. So when I read the reason why it says I did not pay enough federal withholding. I was able to find the problem. In the 2020 1099r the federal withholding was 10k, so when reporting the 2nd year its acting like I never had federal tax withholding on the funds I took In 2020. So iam I missing something or iam I screwed.
