I answered NO that I did not receive a 1099R in 2021 and line 9 and 17 are NOT checked on Form 8915-E. Turbuo Tax then asks, "Did you take a disaster distribution at anytime between 2018 and 2020?"  "...Select YES if you need to report 1/3 of the amount of your distribution from a prior year." 

The options are:

1) Yes, I took a disaster distribution for a disaster that occurred in 2020

2) Yes, I took a disaster distribution for a disaster that occurued in 2018 or 2019

3) No, I did not.

 

I CHOSE:

1)  Yes, I took a disaster distribution for a disaster that occurred in 2020

 

And the message I received was, "You'll need to visit the Form 1099-R Retirement topic

Please visit the Retirement topic IRA, 401K. Pension Plan Withdrawals(1099R) in Wages & Income under the Federal Taxes section.

 

What am I supposed to do in that section if I did not receive a 1099-R for 2021??
