Get your taxes done using TurboTax
Thanks for your clarification. In all cases I used the downloaded version of TurboTax. Still didn't work. This is obvioiusly more than just an isolated situation and I imagine the closer we get to April 15 this is really going to blow up for Intuit. My suspicion is that there is some sort of Windows Registry problem, but I am certainly not qualified to hunt that down on my own. When I was trying to fix this myself after no meaningful help from Intuit I deinstalled all versions of TurboTax and all associated directories and remaining files. Then I went searching for all TurboTax entries in the Registry to delete them. I deleted many entries, but then I got chicken that I had gone too far. So I wound up restoring my PC from a backup. Bottom line is, all troubleshooting attempts failed. So, still waiting for a fix from Intuit.
