You are right about the frustration on TurboTax not to proactively helping the issue with 1099 download from E-trade, when I fist call E-trade the rep said it was Turbotax he he was aware with the problem, but I told him I have 3 accounts with etrade and 2 sign in user ID, 1 of them download without issues but the one I use for my day trade wasn't, se he forward me to tech support specialist. I am breaking the # in 2 part so the robot may not catch it.. if you can combine them 87792, I have many transaction during the year and it would take me atleast a week to manually enter, 12434 hope this will help and I will call Etrade on Monday to see why I still can't download my 1099, I owned the IRS so there is no hurry to file but wanted it to be done before tax day
