Great discussion - very helpful for my situation. If I have business expenses that don't go specifically with an individual item:
shipping and wrapping supplies,
mileage to ship,
items such as weight scales, polish and repair tools,
gift boxes and tissue,
bank fees,
and state DBA fees,
do these go onto a schedule C for the DBA OR
should they get allocated onto the basis somehow?
