As previously mentioned, I only changed the $2,548, which populated, to $2,800 mentioned in Letter 6475; it did not increase a refund or decrease the amount of tax owed. Still, it did increase the amount of Federal Tax Owed.
My Federal Tax Due went from $2,372 to $4,965 when I changed the $2,548 to $2,800.
