Because of your unique situation, you can file as a non-resident of South Carolina, which is partially true, since you weren't a resident at the end of the year. This will allow you to report all income earned in the state which is the important thing. There is no way to file as a part-year resident and a non-resident, so filing as a non-resident is the next best choice.
