Get your taxes done using TurboTax
My original problem remains even after all the suggestions here.
BTW, the Schwab representative I got made sure I had given 3rd party access, which I already had so that Quicken (a/k/a Sicken) would work. So we reset it, signed out of Schwab and back in to re-authorize 3rd Party Access.
It is in the “Security Center” area in Schwab. But that IS NOT THE PROBLEM !!!!
The only large financial institution having this issue is Schwab. I give up whether it is on the TurboTax or Schwab end of things, what I do know is I have several accounts there that had a lot of transactions (gains/losses) that is going to be a pain to enter by hand for the 5 accounts I have there. Yes….. They each have a purpose and I wish they each had a million bucks in them too !!!!
I have used 3 different browsers (setting each one to be the default browser). None of them helped (Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge).
I do not know whether running a Mac or Windows makes a difference.
I doubt TurboTax is doing anything. Their customer service has gone down so much after they were bought out by a private equity company (I know, shocking) and now we must “rent” the program Quicken in order to use it. Just another way to get $$ out of the customer, $1 at a time.
