I used TurboTax Premier, just like last year. I am employed by my S corp, with no other 1099/Schedule C type income, and no deductions other than health insurance. Why is TurboTax insisting I upgrade to Self-Employed?
I got all the way through doing my federal and state returns with Premier (just like last year) and was ready to file. TurboTax says I have to upgrade to Self-Employed because of the "complexity" of my situation. I own an S corp and do not have any 1099 income. I do not have anything that goes on Schedule C. The only business deduction I have on my personal return is self-employed health insurance, just like last year.
For the love of Pete, I do not care about receiving specialized small business advice. Can someone please tell me how to override this nonsense?
