File Form 1116 to claim the foreign tax credit if you are an individual, estate, or trust, and you paid or accrued certain foreign taxes to a foreign country or U.S. possession.
To correct you entries on form 1116:
- Login to your account.
- Select Federal from the left menu
- Go to Wages and Income
- Scroll down to Less Common Income.
- Select Edit/Start next to Foreign Earned Income and Expenses.
