Get your taxes done using TurboTax

I might have found a SOLUTION!!!  When you go to Schwab's passwords page - now called the "Security Center", scroll all the way down to 3rd party access.

I had a previous link to "Intuit" in there.  If you click on the "Stop Linking to All Accounts" link and click Save, it will remove the link to Intuit.  Then try to connect with TurboTax again.  It will go through the entire process, from login to 2FA, it will let you select the accounts and then you are sent back to the username/password login screen with an error.  However if you refresh the Schwab page, you will now see that "TURBOTAX" and NOT INTUIT is now linked to the account.

Once you get there, close all the TurboTax windows and CLOSE TURBOTAX ITSELF.  Then relaunch TurboTax and it will bring you right back to the first step of connecting to Schwab.  Login and you should get to link your accounts and get to the final screen which has a button "Go back to Turbotax".  Then like MAGIC, you will get to the actual Import screen in TurboTax (not in the pop up window) and will be able to import your 1099s or whatever documents are on there.

I know how frustrating Intuit can be sometimes, but there is always a way.  They just give you canned answers that never help.  What all this means is that Intuit changed their authentication because last year it linked with Intuit, which gave the info to Quicken, Mint or any of their other platforms.  Turbotax now seems to need its own link, so a pre-existing Intuit link breaks the link for TurboTax.  Hopefully this helps some of you this season!! 😁
