I can successfully send a screen shot. the problem is the declaration to efile your taxes. there are two boxes that must be checked.one for taxpayer(who is deceased) and one for spouse. the box if check states" I have read the certification above and agree." the deceased box obviously should not be checked.it should not even appear given that all input has been done correctly.the top of return clearly indicated date of death. the signature clearly states signed as surviving spouse. I think there is turbotax programming issue for New york State taxes. I have indeed verified with NYS dept of Taxation that this should be able to be submitted electronically. The reason I say it is TT issue is because , I filed federal separately. When filing federal there was no need to attest for deceased. That only occurs at the state level.
