Here's the basic problem. 5805 underpayment penalty form has multiple issues. I deleted the entire state return and restarted to see if these issues go away and they dont.
1) Form 5805 is not populating correctly. (will get to that later).
2) Form 5805 shows up as a form that turbotax uses and partially fills out, but does not print out when printing the tax return for filing, does not print out when choosing recommended forms and worksheets, does not print out when all forms and worksheets chosen.
3) Form 5805 cannot be deleted. Once deleted, it auto regenerates itself. Form 5805 is a ghost!
5085 form that is autopopulated by turbotax is wrong. It lists incorrectly an exemption 1 for my tax liability is less than $500. My tax liability excluding estimated tax payments is $5000. The error is that turbotax includes the estimated tax payments made in 2022 of $5000 to incorrectly claim an exception to the penalty.
I need help from a turbotax expert how to get this error fixed so turbotax can ask me the questions to fill out 5805. i cannot manually fill out 5805 because turbotax will not allow me to enter info and does not do any calcs.
