The IRS has altered Form 8915 for tax year 2021 to include additional qualified events. This has led to the delay in form availability in TurboTax.
If you believe this form does not apply to you, please verify your 1099-R entry and/or delete all entries related to a 1099-R if you did not receive one. To do this please follow these steps:
- Within your return in TurboTax Online search for 1099-R.
- Click the Jump to link in the search results.
- On the review screen, delete the 1099-R line with the trash can icon.
- Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen.
- Click on Delete a Form.
- Scroll down to your 1099-R and click Delete if it is still there.
