If your refund was changed by the IRS or state tax authority, TurboTax would normally not be able to help you determine why, as that is something done by the taxing authority. However, you will get a notice in the mail explaining why your tax return was adjusted from the IRS or state you filed with within a few days or weeks of the date you received your refund.
