Thank you. Yes I understand it is the ex-spouse who is responsible. But I can't add form 5405 to my return. When I click through My Home and select Yes, but the home I received the credit for stopped being my main home on or before December 31,2020" then select Contininue, it takes me back out to the deductions. When I go back in to revisit the No selection is selected... every time. How do I work around this to add 5405 stating I transferred it to the ex in divorce? IRS keeps rejecting saying I owe FTHBC
