So it seems as if this almost like a one-time Benefit year, where both my son and us (the parents) get these benefits ?
The reason I am asking is that it seems like my son will be getting a refund of around $1,500, because he is able to use the full standard deduction to effectively cut his income in half, correct ?
It seemed like a great benefit, so just wanted to verify.
