Thank you for your reply. However, deleting the credit once my tax forms were completed does not work. For whatever reason, after I delete the credit, it reappears. So.....apparently the tax form will not allow deletions once the form is completed.
I have been advised that the only thing for me to do if I want to file my taxes right away would be to delete the entire tax form and start from the beginning as if I were filing for the first time for 2021. I choose to wait until March 17th and hopefully the necessary form will then be available to the IRS.
