Get your taxes done using TurboTax

You can quit second guessing yourself if you have been reporting your foreign interest on your U.S. Tax Return.  A US Citizen or resident alien is required to report 100% of their worldwide income.  The fact that you left the interest in the foreign banks is not relevant.  You should also be taking a foreign tax credit for the tax you are paying on the interest (and any other foreign tax) to India.
