The customer service from Turbo Tax is less than stellar based on my experience today. I called to get help on amending my 2020 tax return related to repayment of an early withdrawal from an IRA in 2020 but repaid in 2021. The first person I spoke with could not help me even after she remoted into my computer. She transferred me to Vernon who proceeded to tell me that they have been instructed to only help customers on their 2021 tax returns. He informed me that I could pay someone at Turbo Tax to help me with my amended return. Seriously?? Then Vernon told me that he could not help me but is required to send me a link to the community forum as this is a DIY. I called back and spoke with another representative at Turbo Tax and she couldn't help me either and by the way, Turbo Tax is able to electronically file amended returns at this point. I realize that COVID has been a challenge for many and numerous delays in form availability, but very disappointed in the lack of customer service giving consistent answers and willingness to help.
