Get your taxes done using TurboTax
I don't believe you and this is why.
1. No one at Intuit will give me written, electronic confirmation of my refund request.
2. The onus is now on me, the consumer, to follow up if and when I do not get a refund even though a glitch in Intuit's product forced me to pay it in the first place.
3. Intuit does not a have a good reputation, in my opinion, for doing what's in the best interest of the consumer.
It's curious that this glitch is forcing users into paying via refund so Intuit can collect what is probably close to a 100% profit $39 "convenience fee," and maybe it's just easier to try and ignore the vocal minority (me) who are willing to complain about it?
The fact that TurboTax Online does not have a satisfaction guarantee and that customer service won't help me just further solidifies my speculation.
