Hey thank you for this! This is exactly what I did. TurboTax said I needed to quit for the change to take affect though, which made me think that all the data entry I had just done (about 90 minutes’ worth of entering 1099s and expenses!) was a waste of time, but fortunately it did let me save that one time to the desktop, and when I reopened it, my entered data was still there, and it will let me save the file (I don’t have to save it as a new copy each time).
