Before you run a review, have you gone back to where you entered the 1099-NEC and go through all the entries to make sure they are all entered correctly.
To run a review:
TurboTax Online:
- Open TurboTax if it is not already open.
- Click on Federal in the TurboTax Menu on the left side of the screen.
- Across the top of the screen, you will see "Federal Review"
- Click on "Federal Review"
- Click Continue until you come to the screen that says "Let's check your federal return and make sure it's good to go"
- If there are issues or errors in your return, the results identify any potential issues or errors,
- Click Continue and then review the entries
TurboTax Desktop
- Open TurboTax if it is not already open.
- Click on "Review" (you can find it across the top of your screen)
- Click "Continue" and a review of your return will run
- When complete, click "Continue"
- If there are errors or issues, it will identify them and ask for you to review or you will get a green checkmark saying that every is good to go
