Get your taxes done using TurboTax
1) If you have thousands of tax transactions, you should not attempt to list them all individually. Rather you will need to enter summary transactions and send in supporting documentation. If you went to a professional tax preparer, this is exactly what we/they do. Think of it like keeping your business books, then entering summary entries for expense categories with backup documentation for how you got the numbers.
2) It is not uncommon for brokerages to issue the tax forms, which they are required to do by certain deadlines, before they operationalize the links to tax software like TT, which is strictly a courtesy. (They also sometimes make the forms available online and send them out in the mail at different times.)
A TT employee has already posted in this thread how to do #1 if you want more info on how this works.
