Get your taxes done using TurboTax
That’s very well stated. In my humble opinion, Intuit and their minions at TurboTax are ignoring us either in hopes we will find an alternative method or continue to believe that they are actively seeking a solution. I doubt that TT or parent Intuit give two s_it’s about us. They have millions of other subscribers who are brainlessly submitting their returns successfully because they don’t need anything beyond a 1040. Those of us who are stuck are frankly at the mercy of Turbo Tax. IF they can correct the problem then we will shut up and go away, if not I’m sure their attitude is “Issue a refund?” Sure, try getting that one out of Intuit.” I believe that your post is so well written that it should be sent to USA. Today, The WSJ and every other widely read newspapers. Perhaps a call to the WSJ would get you an email address for submission as a beginning and it won’t take long before others will pick it up.
I still have hopes that someone with the knowledge of the process would initiate a class action suit. Intuit is big but not so big that it can’t be taken down. Perhaps a number equaling $10,000,000 for every subscriber experiencing the issue would get their attention as a starting point. Sure that’s a ridiculous amount but the amount isn’t the point. Punishing them for releasing a program with known flaws and then not correcting them immediately will have a significant impact on their client base. Many will think this is radical and perhaps it is but here’s the bottom line; Uncle Sam and our home states have had the benefit of using our money for a year interest free. TT has already added two months to that length of time and I don’t know about anyone else. but I want my money or if I do owe,?I want that off my back. Sorry for the rant but I’ve emailed and called and have absolutely nothing from TT. Enough already.
