I received a 1099 NEC form from Sylvan who treats all tutors as independent contractors. I entered it under other income 1099 NEC. When I run the error check, Turbo Tax keeps prompting me to fill out Schedule C with information I do not have, ie Business Code, Name Accounting method, etc. I do not own my own business . Previous years it just did it with a Schedule 1 I believe. How do I proceed ?
