Im thinking there might be a glitch in the TurboTax MAC desktop software. I completed the section on IRA, nondeductable contributions. The program generated the form 8606-S (for wife) correctly, but not 8606-T (taxpayer). Then, I searched and found the 8606-T, but saw that "basis" was the only information filled in. When I tried to enter the necessary data manually, my keystrokes were not recorded. Any other ideas I might try?
I did not have any issues with the form 8606 over the past ten years of filing with TurboTax Mac edition.
