here we go again.  the IRS says the custodial parent gets to claim the child. It doesn't care what the courts order.  so for your ex, who is the non-custodial parent, to claim the child under the tax laws, you must furnish her with form  8332.  you don't have to give her the form, but then she can't claim the child under the tax laws so you likely would find yourself before a judge reading you the riot act. 

if you want to comply with the court order, you would need to amend your return after it is fully processed and provide your ex with the tax form.  sorry to say she, if she wants to claim the child, she can no longer e-file no matter what you do,
