Can a pastor deduct expenses if she does not receive a salary?
Good morning. My wife is a pastor and receives only a small housing allowance. She pays for ministry materials, association fees, mileage, etc. If she received a salary, she would be able to deduct those expenses as unreimbursed business expenses. Considering that she does not receive a salary, can she still deduct those expenses? Thank you.
