Another question: For tax year 2022 (still ongoing), should I indicate Married filing jointly with my employer since I intend to apply for ITIN for my spouse with my 2021 tax return filing in a couple of weeks from today. Or can I only indicate Married filing jointly with my employer after I have received the ITIN?
