Like klong2468, My credit is very small ($2) and related to a foreign index mutual fund. In my case, it appears both on the background 1116 [do not file] and the 1116 worksheet I mentioned earlier, but also is the only entry on Schedule 3. Initially, I was getting the same delaying messages, but now, all is exactly as it has been on previous returns and I'm good to go. I certainly have no idea why all the others continue to have a problem, except that their returns and finances may be more complicated than ours.
