If your in the state of north Carolina the state filing is not ready yet. Won't be able to file state taxes till end of February but you can go ahead and file federal and once state becomes available to file then file state. That's what I had to do I ended up filling just my federal yesterday and I'll file state when it's available to file. The state of NC passed new laws and what not so it's the reason why it's taking so long for people to be able to file state.
