It looks like there are two viable solutions to this problem that have worked for some people in this thread:
1) Fix the incorrect Box A checkmark by right-clicking and overriding. Unfortunately, the Mac versions don't allow for this, but I guess it works on the Windows versions.
2) Trick TurboTax into thinking it doesn't need to fill out a form 2210 (and actually, it's a programming error that it thinks it should). You can do this by searching on "underpayment penalty" and going through the interview for that section again. Put in a zero for your tax liability in 2017 (which, I know, is not correct - ONLY do this if you really don't owe a penalty). That way, TT will correctly conclude that you've paid enough and will skip over form 2210. The info about last year's liability is only used by TT to determine if it needs to do a 2210. The little white lie doesn't go to the IRS.
